Refund policy

At aniTime, we aim to provide a fair and transparent experience. Please review our policy carefully before purchasing, as we have implemented specific measures to maintain the quality of our collectibles.

1. CANCELLATIONS

Orders can only be cancelled before they have been shipped or fulfilled.

  • Processing Fee: Following the standard practice of major hobby shops, all cancellations refunded to the original payment method will be subject to a 3% processing fee (for Canada) or 6% fee (for USA). These fees cover non-refundable credit card processing costs and currency exchange fees incurred by aniTime.

  • Pre-orders: Once placed, pre-orders and backorders generally cannot be cancelled as stock is specially allocated for your order.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of receipt for unopened products.

  • Condition: Items must be in the exact condition received—unused, with all original factory seals, shrink-wrap, and foil intact.

  • Blind Boxes: Once the external seal or box of a blind box is broken, it is a Final Sale item and strictly ineligible for return or exchange.

  • Fees: Approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

3. DAMAGED & DEFECTIVE ITEMS

  • Transit Damage: Please inspect your order immediately. While we pack with care, aniTime is not liable for items damaged by the carrier. We will assist you in filing a claim; please retain all packaging as evidence.

  • Defects: For manufacturer defects (missing parts or major breakage), please contact info@anitime.ca with photos. Minor paint inconsistencies are considered standard variations in mass-produced figures and do not qualify as defects.

4. FINAL SALE ITEMS

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Opened Blind Boxes or Mystery Items.

  • Sale/Clearance items and Gift Cards.

  • Items purchased using reward points or promotional codes.

5. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

We offer two convenient ways to return your unopened items within 30 days of receipt:

Option A: In-Store Return (Fastest)

You may return your online purchase directly to our retail location in Richmond.

  • Immediate Resolution: Our staff will verify the item's condition and original seals on the spot.

  • No Shipping Fees: You avoid the cost and hassle of mailing the item back.

  • Exchange Opportunities: You can immediately browse our latest series for a same-day exchange.

  • Process: Please bring your order confirmation email (digital or printed) and the unopened item to: aniTime Retail Store 4751 McClelland Rd, Unit 2220 Richmond, BC, V6X 0M5, Canada

Option B: Return by Mail

If you cannot visit us in person, please follow these steps to ensure your return is sent to the correct secondary location (Storage vs. Retail):

  1. Request Authorization: Email info@anitime.ca with your order number.

  2. Receive Shipping Instructions: We will provide the specific shipping address for your return. Do not ship items back until you have received this address.

  3. Pack and Ship: Securely package the unopened items with the original packing slip.

    • Note: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Items sent to an unauthorized address may experience significant processing delays.
