Pre-order & Special Order Policy

At aniTime, we want to help you secure the latest collectibles and hard-to-find items. By placing a Pre-order or a Special Order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Pre-orders

Pre-orders are items that have not yet been released. By purchasing a pre-order, you are guaranteeing that a unit from our confirmed allocation is set aside specifically for you.

  • Payment: Payment is collected in full at the time of checkout to secure your reservation.

  • Estimated Release Dates: Arrival dates are estimates provided by the manufacturer and are subject to change without notice.

  • Delays: Production and shipping delays are common in the hobby industry; such delays do not constitute grounds for a refund or cancellation.

  • Fulfillment: Pre-order customers are served in the order their purchase was received. If a manufacturer provides a partial shipment, we fulfill orders chronologically.

2. Special Orders (Sourcing Requests)

"Special Order" items are products that are not currently in our local Richmond inventory. When you place a Special Order, we initiate a search through our global distributor network to find the item for you.

  • Payment: Payment is required in full upfront to begin the sourcing process.

  • 14-Day Guarantee: If we are unable to successfully source your item within 14 business days, we will notify you and provide a 100% full refund to your original payment method.

  • Final Sale: Once we have confirmed and secured the item with our distributor, the Special Order is considered a final sale and cannot be cancelled.

3. The "Ship-When-Complete" Rule

To keep shipping costs low and ensure your collectibles arrive safely together, we follow a strict shipment policy:

  • Combined Orders: If your order contains a mix of "In-Stock," "Pre-order," or "Special Order" items, the entire order will be held and shipped ONLY when every item is available.

  • Separate Shipments: We do not offer partial fulfillment for single orders. If you would like your in-stock items delivered immediately, please place them in a separate transaction from your pre-orders.

4. Cancellations & Fees

Please consider your purchases carefully, as pre-orders represent a committed allocation from our vendors.

  • Cancellations: Pre-orders generally cannot be cancelled once the manufacturer's order window has closed.

  • Processing Fee: If a cancellation is approved at our discretion, a 15% processing fee will be deducted from your refund to cover non-refundable transaction and allocation costs.

  • Store Credit Option: You may choose to receive your full refund as Store Credit to waive the 15% processing fee.

5. Damaged or Missing Items

  • Manufacturer Defects: If a pre-ordered item arrives with a factory defect (e.g., missing parts), please contact us at info@anitime.ca with photos. We will assist in contacting the manufacturer on your behalf.

  • Cosmetic Variations: Minor paint inconsistencies or slight packaging wear are considered standard manufacturer variations and do not qualify as defects.
