🧾 Orders & Payments

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped or fulfilled. If a cancellation is approved and refunded to the original payment method, a processing fee applies:

  • 3% for Canada
  • 6% for USA

These fees cover non-refundable payment processing and currency exchange costs.

Pre-orders and Special Orders are generally non-cancellable once placed.

When is payment collected?
  • In-stock items: Payment is charged at checkout.
  • Pre-orders & Special Orders: Payment is collected in full at checkout to secure your reservation.

Important note on pre-orders:

Pre-orders are fulfilled based on manufacturer allocation, which may change without notice.

While we do our best to secure stock for all pre-order customers, final quantities are determined by the manufacturer. If we receive insufficient allocation, orders will be fulfilled in the order they were placed. Any remaining orders may be:

  • Fulfilled in a later arrival, or
  • Refunded or credited, depending on availability and customer preference.

Placing a pre-order does not guarantee fulfillment in the first shipment or on the initial release date.

Where do you ship?

We ship to:

  • Canada
  • United States

For other international destinations, shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis. If your country is not supported at checkout, please contact us before placing an order:

How much does shipping cost?
  • British Columbia (BC): Flat rate $10 CAD
  • Rest of Canada & USA: Calculated automatically at checkout based on weight, size, and destination
Is free shipping available?

Yes.

  • Regular offer: FREE standard shipping on orders $300 CAD+ (before tax, after discounts)
  • Grand Opening Promotion: FREE standard shipping on orders $200 CAD+
    **This opening promotion is available for a limited time and may change without notice.
How fast do you ship?

We offer a 2-Business Day Fulfillment Guarantee.

Orders are packed and handed to the carrier within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Delivery times depend on destination and shipping method and are not guaranteed.

Will I be charged duties if I’m in the USA?

No.

aniTime ships US orders on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.

  • All duties, taxes, and customs fees are prepaid by us
  • There will be no surprise charges upon delivery

The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay.

⏳ Pre-orders & Special Orders

What is a pre-order?

A Pre-order allows you to reserve or purchase an item before its official release.

Estimated arrival dates are shown on product pages whenever possible. These dates are for reference only and may change due to factors beyond our control, including:

  • Manufacturer production schedules
  • Shipping delays
  • Customs clearance
Are pre-order release dates guaranteed?

No.

Release dates are estimates provided by manufacturers and are subject to change without notice. Delays are common in the collectibles industry and do not qualify for cancellation or refund.

Is my pre-order guaranteed?

Pre-orders are fulfilled based on manufacturer allocation.

If available stock is limited, orders will be fulfilled chronologically, based on the time the order was placed. If your order cannot be fulfilled in the first shipment:

  • It may be fulfilled in a later arrival, or
  • We will contact you to discuss available options.
What is a Special Order?

A Special Order is an item that is not currently in our local Richmond inventory. When you place a Special Order:

  • Payment is required upfront to begin sourcing
  • We will search through our distributor network on your behalf
  • If we cannot source the item within 14 business days, you will receive a 100% refund

Once a Special Order has been confirmed and secured, it is considered final sale.

Why are pre-orders non-cancellable?

Pre-orders represent a committed allocation request placed with our vendors.

Once the manufacturer’s order window has closed, pre-orders generally cannot be cancelled, as inventory has already been secured specifically for your order.

What does “Ship-When-Complete” mean?

If your order contains a mix of:

  • In-stock items
  • Pre-orders
  • Special Orders

The entire order will ship only when all items are available.

If you would like in-stock items shipped immediately, please place them in a separate order.

🎁 Blind Boxes & Mystery Items

Can I choose which character I get?

No.

Blind Boxes and Mystery Items are sold randomly. We do not guarantee any specific character, chase figure, or variant.

Can I return a blind box?

Blind Boxes are final sale once opened.

If the outer seal, shrink-wrap, foil, or box is broken, the item is not eligible for return or exchange.

What counts as a defect?

Manufacturer defects include:

  • Missing parts
  • Major breakage

Minor paint variations, small alignment issues, or light packaging wear are considered normal manufacturing variations and do not qualify as defects.

🔁 Returns & Exchanges

What is your return window?

We accept returns of unopened items within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • In original condition
  • Factory sealed (shrink-wrap / foil intact)
Are there any fees for returns?

Yes.

  • A 10% restocking fee applies to approved returns
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

What items are final sale?

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Opened Blind Boxes or Mystery Items
  • Sale / Clearance items
  • Gift Cards
  • Items purchased using reward points or promotional codes
How do I return an item?

Option A: In-store return (fastest)

Bring your unopened item and order confirmation to:

Option B: Return by mail

  1. Email info@anitime.ca with your order number
  2. Wait for return authorization and shipping instructions
  3. Ship the item securely with the original packing slip

Do not ship items without authorization, as this may cause processing delays.

Are your products authentic?

Yes.

All products sold by aniTime are 100% authentic, sourced from official manufacturers or authorized distributors.

Do you guarantee box condition?

We pack all orders with care. However, minor box wear may occur during transit or from the manufacturer.

Box condition is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated on the product page.
